It’s the 16th! And somehow we are a week and a half away from Thanksgiving. This year and especially these past few weeks have flown by.
I am now a married lady (which still seems weird to me), and while I really meant to take photos of the millions of ice cream sandwiches I made for the reception, I found that I was way too busy to even stop and think about it. I apologize that there will be no post about it, and you just have to trust me that they turned out well 🙂
Thanksgiving is one of my favorite times of year. For one, because of all of the delicious food & family time, and also because while it is usually cold, you can still occasionally get that perfect 60 degree Fall day.
For my roundup this month, I decided to feature Thanksgiving Side Dishes. I personally have a hard time branching out from the usual staples ( mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, etc), so I included those in my roundup, but also added in some yummy sounding creative alternatives (or additions). My mouth has been watering as I’ve been combing through Foodgawker for these recipes. I just may have to start making them now…
