Is it necessary to keep magic bars refrigerated?

Unless you live in a very hot climate, you don’t need to keep our Quick Bake Magic Bars refrigerated. To keep them fresh, I’d store them in an airtight jar. They last approximately 3 days if kept out of the refrigerator. They’ll last 5-7 days if you keep them cold!

What’s the difference between evaporated and condensed milk?

There is just one significant difference between these two canned milk products, and that is the amount of sugar in both. Condensed milk is always sweetened, while evaporated milk is never sweetened. The sweetened condensed milk has a somewhat thicker viscosity than regular condensed milk.

What is evaporated milk, and how does it differ from regular milk?

Milk that has been boiled down to enable part of the water content to evaporate is known as evaporated milk. The concentrate is canned, resulting in a thicker milk with a somewhat toasted taste.

Bake for 30 minutes after all of the ingredients are in place. To ensure uniform cooking, put the item on the center rack. The delicious condensed milk will slightly darken and spread. The chocolate chunks will begin to soften as well.

Allow the bars to cool for 5-7 minutes after removing them from the oven. Cut when still warm and remove from dish before it cools entirely. The delicious condensed milk solidifies and makes it difficult to remove from the baking dish if you wait too long.
