Keto Broccoli Salad
I have a lot of recipes and food blog posts that I have not yet published. But, I decided to make a Keto broccoli salad for dinner tonight. I decided to make the Keto broccoli salad to keep a low carb diet, and also to lose weight. I hope you enjoy this recipe!
Is it better to eat broccoli (which is low in calories) along with fat, or should you eat fat along with broccoli (which is also low in calories)? It’s a question that’s been asked for centuries, but there’s one thing we know for sure: broccoli is healthy for us. In fact, research suggests it may actually help us lose weight.
In a world full of food trends, it can be hard to break away from the path of least resistance, but I believe that all it takes to lose weight is to break the food rules and learn about nutrition. Often, people who are trying to lose weight end up eating a lot of salad and other vegetables that are low in carbs, and they end up gaining weight! But if you follow what I call the Keto Diet (Keto for short), you can lose weight and be healthy!
With summer quickly approaching, soup is out and cold side dishes are in! This Salad de Broccoli Keto is one of my favorite ways to elevate a bland low-carb veggie like broccoli with little effort. With just a quick blanch and a few add-ins, you’ll have the next best summer cookout side dish! Watch how I made it in the video below.
Broccoli Keto?
Yes, of course! Broccoli is one of the veggies with the lowest carbohydrate and net carbohydrate content. Broccoli contains fiber that may be removed, making it a wonderful side dish for veggie fans. Broccoli provides 6 total carbohydrates and 2.5 fiber per cup (91g), for a total of 3.5 net carbs. Not bad for a filling vegetable for the heart! If we want a quick side dish to go with a steak or burger, we steam it and top it with butter or roast it in the oven at 300 degrees for 15 minutes. This keto broccoli salad, on the other hand, is my favorite preparation — the creamy mayo, crunchy bacon, and vibrant colors bring this side to life!
Keto Side Dishes Are Simple To Find!
For dinner, some bacon and eggs or a 12 oz steak will suffice. But, more often than not, I’m looking for a tasty side dish. Matt, on the other hand, could go without a side dish every night, but I can’t. Some of my favorite side dishes to serve with steak, salmon, or chicken thighs are:

Summertime Grilling With Salad de Broccoli Keto!
This dish is limited to the outside and only when the grill is hot in Matt’s mind, but he’s not so flexible when it comes to food hehe. I’ve made it with slivered almonds and sliced red onion and kept it in the fridge for a mid-day snack or supper side dish since I first made it. This Keto Broccoli Salad is a favorite of pregnant Megha’s, and she’s sure you will too!
