This post is about Stir Fry Curry Crabs Recipe.

Just as you can enjoy many different types of food in a stir-fry (for example, shrimp, beef, and vegetables), you can enjoy many different kinds of crabs in your stir-fry. You can also add a variety of different sauces to your stir-fry.

The idea of creating this recipe is to create a dish that is easy to make but still tastes amazing. The curry powder (or Indian spice) adds a hint of spice and flavour to your dish. The other ingredients also add to the overall flavour of your dish. The curry powder is wonderful for making your mouth water and enjoying the flavour of the dish. The crab meat is wonderful for providing meaty texture and flavour to your dish. The vegetables that are used in this recipe provide colour and texture to your dish. The sauce that is used in this recipe provides a dominant flavour to your dish.

Because it is made with dry curry powder and occasionally coconut milk, this Stir Fry Curry Crabs Recipe is famous in Khmer cuisine. Oyster sauce, fish sauce, garlic, and red curry paste are included in almost every version for this traditional Khmer meal.

Ingredients

3 Dungeness crabs, cooked or raw, cleanly cracked shells, put aside
1/2 sliced white onion
2 green onions, 1 inch thickly sliced
1/4 cup ginger, finely sliced
1 slice of jalapeo
2 minced garlic cloves
2 shallots, finely chopped
3 tbsp. vegetable oil for stir-frying

Sauce for stir-frying

coconut milk, 1/2 can
2 tsp. red curry paste
sugar (two tablespoons)
oyster sauce (two tablespoons)
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon Chinese five-spice powder
In a mixing dish, combine all ingredients and put aside.

Stir Fry Curry Crabs Recipe Instructions

  1. In a wok, heat 3 tablespoons of oil until hot.
  2. Stir in the garlic, shallots, ginger, and jalapeo until fragrant.
  3. Crabs should be included. If you’re using cooked crabs, it won’t take long, but if you’re using raw crabs, add a little water to steam the crabs until they become pink.
  4. Now add the stir fry sauce and toss or turn it a few times to combine the sauce and crabs (this is why you must break the shell so the flavor can penetrate), taste, and adjust the spice.
  5. Turn off the heat and add the white onion and green onion.

Rice should be served with the stir-fried curry crabs.

Enjoy
