This Crockpot Keto Beef and Broccoli tastes better than Chinese takeout! Since I do not have time to make takeout at home, I will make this on a slow cook for dinner. This recipe is easy and tasty.

Chinese takeout is one of my favorite meals, especially when it’s convenient. Unfortunately, the Chinese restaurants near me are few and far between, and even then, they’re often busy – you may have to wait in the drive-thru. The good news? I don’t have to wait to enjoy Chinese food anymore — I can make my own at home. My recipe combines a slow-cooker with some of my favorite ingredients to create a Chinese Takeout-inspired meal that tastes better than Chinese takeout.

Ever since I started using my Crockpot to make recipes like this recipe, I’ve been on a quest to find more creative ways to use my slow cooker. I’ve tried making this recipe in the oven, on the stove, and even in my wok without much luck. But after I made this recipe in my slow cooker, it was like I had found the holy grail of slow cooker recipes.

Cooking Tips for Keto Beef with Broccoli in a Slow Cooker:

  • I quickly schroei the vlees with a little olive oil, salt, and pepper on the fornuis before putting it in the slowcooker to improve the flavor. You may skip this step if you don’t have any haast! Prepare as directed and place in a slow cooker.

One unavoidable step: place the vlees on a separate board without the saus. Put 1 xanthaangom theelepel and 2 sausvloeistof eetlepels in a small kom. Put it in a slow cooker with the vloeistof to create a thicker sauce.

Put the broccoli and vlees back in the slow cooker. Cook for another 20-30 minutes on high heat, or until the broccoli is tender and the sauce has thickened. Serve with bloemkoolrijst if desired.
