BUTTERFINGER PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES

Butterfinger Peanut Butter Cookies elevate the traditional peanut butter cookie to new heights! This recipe was sent to me by a friend a long time ago, but I put it off since I’m not a big Butterfinger lover. My kids were asking when I was going to taste them, so I eventually gave in and was blown away by how wonderful they are!
Even those of us who don’t normally like this kind of candy bar will enjoy the Butterfinger candy pieces in the peanut butter cookie! The recipe asks for crunchy peanut butter, which is also fantastic — I adore the contrast between the sharpness of the nuts and the softness of the biscuit. My favorite cookies are soft and chewy, and these have just the right texture and consistency!
COOKIES WITH BUTTERFINGER PEANUT BUTTER
- 1/2 cup softened butter
- a quarter cup of sugar
- brown sugar, 2/3 cup
- 2 beaten egg whites
- 1 1/4 cup peanut butter, chunky
- 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 pound of flour
- a half teaspoon of baking soda
- a quarter teaspoon of salt
- 5 (1.9 ounce) Butterfinger candy bars or 10 oz bag of Butterfinger Baking Bits
- Cream the butter and sugars together in a mixing dish.
- Mix in the egg whites well. Combine the peanut butter and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl.
- Add the flour, baking soda, and salt to the cream mixture and stir well. Mix well before adding the candy bars.
- Place the cookies on prepared cookie pans using a cookie scoop.
- Preheat oven to 350°F and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until gently browned. Allow to cool on wire racks before serving.

C is our fourth child, but the only male in the family.
