Recently, I’ve been re-enthused with Detox! I was weary and worn down, so I decided it was time to cleanse my body and wash out impurities. In my personal experience, I found that doing a detox cleaning program before starting the HCG Phase 2 diet resulted in much greater weight reduction than jumping straight into the diet without first doing a Phase 1 detox.

I’d like to offer a few of my favorite HCG detox techniques, which you may apply during Phase 1 of the HCG Diet or at any time throughout the year. HCG Detox Recommendations

Colon cleaning is an excellent method to kick-start your hCG detox (or any detox program). Toxins may be discharged more readily if the intestinal channels are cleared before doing any liver, kidney, or other cleaning. During the 1-2 month Phase 1 cleaning phase and before starting the HCG Phase 2, many HCG Dieters may take herbs with fiber or have a series of colonics.

When cleaning, drink lots of water with lemon to aid in the detox and flushing of impurities. Throughout HCG Phase 2 and Phase 3, I suggest drinking a glass of lemon water every day. Lemon water is alkalizing and aids in liver cleansing and flushing.

Take a Sauna at least once a week. Sweating is one of the greatest methods to remove toxins via the skin, which is the body’s biggest organ. An infrared sauna is a relatively pleasant method to sweat and remove fluids and toxins from the body. After your workout, be sure to drink lots of water and take electrolytes to keep your body in balance. Limit your time in the sauna to no more than 20 minutes. If you have high blood pressure, stay away from the sauna.

Take an epsom salt bath to cleanse. Similar to a sauna, a hot bath with epsom salts may promote the release of toxins and excess fluids via the skin. Adding some essential oils like rose or lavender to your bath may be healthful, stress-relieving, and purifying.
