Easy Mango Salsa

We made this salsa with one goal in mind, and it’s quickly become a household favorite—delicious it’s with a variety of foods or on its own!
My buddy and I are constantly on the lookout for tasty ways to remain healthy, particularly during the week. Lunchtime at home may quickly become tedious! We were bored of the same old same old slices of turkey with a little salad, so we decided to try something new! It was then that this mango salsa was created! We began by mixing it in with the turkey and used it as a tortilla-free wrap. It was simply fantastic! We began to use it as a condiment on everything! On certain days, I simply serve a bowl of this delicious salsa by myself!
What foods go well with mango salsa?
Personally, I believe it works well with almost everything! We consume it in a variety of ways, including:
- As a typical salsa, it’s served with chips.
- A delectable turkey wrap stuffing
- strewn across cooked chicken or fish
- Tacos de Mariscos
- As a “dressing” for salads
- As a salad on its own
What is the best way to chop a mango?
I’ll tell you a small secret… One of my least favorite activities is chopping a mango!!! Fortunately for me, most grocery shops in my area offer this delectable fruit already sliced and diced! If at all feasible, I like to purchase it in spears and dice it myself! If you can’t find it pre-sliced, this video instruction will show you how to chop it yourself. I swear it isn’t that difficult; I simply prefer not to have to do an additional step!
Is it possible to freeze mango salsa?
Although this salsa may be frozen, we suggest making it and eating it within a few days after making it. The texture of this salsa is a major part of what makes it so tasty. The mango tastes best when it’s juicy but yet firm, and the bell peppers have a nice crunch. If mangoes aren’t in season and you have a desire, frozen mango chunks can suffice; just remember that nothing beats eating it fresh!
Ingredients for our Mango Salsa (Easy)
- Red and Orange Bell Peppers, Petite
- juice of lime
- juice of a lemon
- Onions, green
Here’s how to create our Simple Mango Salsa.
Cut the mango into bite-sized pieces on a chopping board.
Add bell peppers, jalapeo, cilantro, and green onions to the bowl, finely chopped.
1 lime and 1/2 of a lemon should be squeezed.
To combine all of the ingredients, stir them together. Allow 30 minutes in the refrigerator for optimum taste!

- a single mango (about 1.5 cups diced)
- 2 tiny red and orange bell peppers (or 1/2 red or orange normal pepper)
- Cilantro, 2-3 Tablespoons
- 1 jalapeno pepper
- 2 onions (green)
- Lime juice (1 lime)
- lemon juice (1/2 lemon)
- Mango should be chopped into bite-sized pieces on a cutting board and placed in a medium-sized basin.
- Add bell peppers, cilantro, jalapeño, and green onion to bowl, finely chopped.
- Squeeze lime and lemon juice into a mixing bowl.
- Stir everything together well.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
- Serve and have fun.
- Refrigerate any leftover salsa in a covered dish for up to two days.
