One of my favorite foods is eggs. For a long time, eggs had a poor reputation owing to their high cholesterol level. Time and science, on the other hand, have shown that eggs are not to blame. Our blood cholesterol levels have nothing to do with the cholesterol in eggs. What a sigh of relief. I adore eggs. You have no right to tell me I shouldn’t eat eggs! Eggs are one of the healthiest foods we can consume since they are low in calories and rich in nutrients. 7 grams of high-quality protein, iron, vitamins, and minerals are included in one entire egg. They contain lutein, which may aid in the prevention of age-related macular degeneration. They also include choline, which is beneficial to the health of our brains. Also, hi! Did I mention that eggs are high in protein? Protein helps you feel fuller for longer, so you’re less inclined to snack in between meals.

Convenience of Eggs

Another advantage of the almighty egg is its portability. Eggs are the ideal serving size for feeding one or twenty people; just break one to two eggs per person. An egg may be cooked in a variety of ways, such as boiled, fried, scrambled, or baked, and each time you eat one, you’ll feel like you’ve eaten something new. A hard-boiled egg may be consumed at any time and in any location. You can also slice it up and mix it with an avocado to create my super-healthy avocado egg salad. You may eat them whole or cut them up to use as a salad topper. I like a fried egg on top of a piece of bread every now and again. A tasty supper is scrambled eggs with mushrooms and onions. They may be cooked like a casserole if you need to serve a big group. Omelets, quiches, frittatas, and stratas are just a handful of the numerous egg dishes available. Their convenience and simplicity are unmatched.

Egg Bake with Spinach, Cheddar, and Onion

This delicious baked egg dish contains fresh spinach, cheddar cheese, and green onions for additional nutrients. You can make it healthier by omitting the cheese, but because I don’t get to have these types of breakfasts very frequently, I indulge every now and again. Before topping with whisked eggs and baking in the oven, I sauteed the onion and gently wilted the spinach. This is a simple baked egg dish, but the possibilities are limitless. You are free to add anything your taste buds want. To create a fancy evening dinner, combine this dish with smoked salmon or chopped shrimp. You may also add crumbled bacon or sausage if desired. I like to use a lot of veggies, such as asparagus, chard, tomatoes, or mushrooms. As I already said, the options are limitless. With this recipe, you may let your creativity go wild.
