1632464569_625_SPICED-APPLE-COOKIESSpiced apple cookies may be made with a few basic ingredients and a little effort. The toughest aspect of making these cookies is cutting up the apple, which is as easy as making any other cookie dough. But there’s another advantage to this dough: it doesn’t need to be chilled!

Spiced Apple Cookies: What Are They?

This delicacy is delightful and flavorful, thanks to freshly sliced apples mixed into a cookie dough mixture seasoned with spices, raisins, and walnuts. A simple two-ingredient powdered sugar glaze drizzled over the top adds sweetness and aesthetic appeal.

You’ll need the following ingredients to make the cookies:

-Light Brown Sugar: We can make a light brown and caramelized cookie that’s chewy and delicious using 1 1/2 cups of light brown sugar!

-Butter: To obtain the required fats for a rich-tasting cookie, we’ll need a whole stick of melted butter (12 cup).

-Egg: We can obtain the binder we need to keep these cookies together with only one egg.

-Milk: You may use cow’s milk or a dairy-free substitute, but we’ll need 14 cup to thin the thick mixture to the right consistency for cookie dough.

-Flour: The cookie dough mixture will be made using 2 12 cups all-purpose flour.

-Baking Soda: This is the leavening ingredient that puffs up and fluffs up the cookies! We’ll need around a teaspoon.

1632464572_497_SPICED-APPLE-COOKIES-Spices: We get a delicious and somewhat nutty cookie with 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and 12 teaspoons of ground cloves and nutmeg, which is ideal for autumn.

-Salt: This is the flavor enhancer; for a delicious batch of cookies, add 1/2 teaspoon of salt.

-Walnuts: 1 cup chopped walnuts will give the cookies a crunchy/chewy feel, but you may leave them out if you want a nut-free cookie.

-Raisins: Adding 34 cups of raisins to the batter will give the cookies a chewy texture. They’re also fantastic for seasoning cookies.

-Apple: 1 cup finely chopped apple (about half an apple) or one entire tiny apple is required. You may use any apple variety for baking (I used Honeycrisp).

You’ll need the following ingredients to make the icing:

-Powdered Sugar: We’ll need just 12 cup of powdered sugar to make a delicious white icing for all of the cookies.

-Hot Water: Thicken the powdered sugar into a dripping glaze for the cookies using 1-2 tablespoons of hot water.
