I used to never eat mushrooms, but after seeing them at the farmer’s market one day I decided it was time to try them again. So, I picked up a bag, and I really didn’t know what to do with them. I had some mushrooms that I picked up from the field, so I thought, “I’ll deep fry them in olive oil and some salt, and then put them in a potato pan with some butter and some garlic.” That sounded pretty good to me, and I tried it. Let’s face it: you either adore or despise them. Fortunately, my family devours them! We eat them raw, roasted, sautéed, fried, and in just about any other manner we can think of. We wanted to test how a dish we normally make on the stove top would turn out in the air fryer since we are new to it. Well, I’m here to tell you that it was absolutely fantastic! They were somewhat crunchy, and the taste was spot on. It was simple to prepare and clean up. You’re going to adore them!

What mushrooms are the healthiest?

In the end, any mushroom is a fantastic, nutritious option. The greatest fiber is found in oyster and shiitake mushrooms, which contain approximately 2 grams per serving. To create our Air Fryer Garlic Mushrooms, follow these steps:

Preheat your air fryer to 380 degrees Fahrenheit.

Mushrooms that have been roughly chopped. You may certainly skip this step if you purchased them already sliced.

Toss them with the olive oil, garlic powder, and soy sauce in a mixing bowl. Cook for 10-12 minutes in the air fryer, tossing and stirring halfway through.

When the timer goes off, they’ll be ready to serve! Because the mushrooms shrink as they cook, I double the recipe when serving this as a side to more than two people.

Instructions

    1. Preheat the air fryer to 380 degrees Fahrenheit.
    2. Slice the mushrooms into thin pieces.
    3. Toss the mushrooms in a bowl with the oil, garlic powder, and soy sauce.
    4. Cook, shaking the basket halfway through, for 10-12 minutes.
    5. Take out of the air fryer and enjoy!

I’ve been using my Air Fryer a lot lately, and I’ve noticed a few things.   First, my favorite Air-Fryer recipe is fried garlic mushrooms.  But I also love to cook other things in it, like chicken thighs, steak strips, and some vegetables.   So, I decided to try making garlic mushrooms using the Air Fryer.  It was super easy, and I’m really glad I kept a few extra panko bread crumbs on hand in case I had any trouble.   I thought the results were pretty good, and I’ll definitely add this Air-Fryer recipe to my list of favorites.   I hope you enjoy it!.
