Recipe for an Easy Dessert Pizza!

The beauty of this dish is that the dessert pizza is essentially a blank canvas ready to be filled with your favorite toppings. You may go with a traditional icing (our personal favorite is cream cheese), a peanut butter or chocolate drizzle, nuts and spices baked into the pizza itself, or simply eat it plain! We suggest using your favorite protein powder to add flavor and sweetness to this dessert pizza dish, but if you use unflavored protein powder, be sure to add some sugar to take it to the next level!

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt your butter.

  • Once the butter has melted, mix in the almond milk (flax, coconut, cashew) and the egg.

  • Combine the almond flour and protein powder in a mixing bowl.

  • Pour the dough into the parchment paper’s middle. Spray a second piece of parchment paper with coconut oil spray and place it on top of the dough (so the dough doesn’t cling to it).

  • Roll it out to the desired shape and thickness, approximately 1/4 inch thick.

  • Bake for 15 minutes, or until golden brown around the edges. Allow time for the cake to cool completely before icing or topping it.

  • Note: We used Quest Cinnamon Crunch protein powder for the recipe nutrition (as seen in the video).
