Dirty Chai Tea Latte

A chai tea latte is a relatively simple drink to make at home, but each recipe is different and some may contain dairy or sweeteners you don’t want. Use this method to make a chai tea latte at home without dairy or other ingredients you don’t want.

I am a tea lover. I’ve always loved tea, but I have never been a tea drinker. I’ve purposefully chosen to drink flavoured water over tea, since I don’t really enjoy the taste of tea. Within a few days of starting to drink tea, I was in love. The chai tea I drink has a taste like no other. There’s something so comforting and warm about it, that is hard to describe. I especially like that it has a healthy dose of caffeine in it.

Tea is a drink that has been consumed for thousands of years. It is said to have originated in the middle east, and has become a staple in many cultures. The advantages of tea are numerous, it offers many health benefits, is a great source of antioxidants, is packed with natural plant based caffeine which is great for energy, and it is very delicious. So why is there a problem with tea? The problem is that it is contaminated with many chemicals, preservatives, additives and other irritants. These chemicals can cause many different health problems, one of the biggest being that they can be carcinogenic.

This dish was inspired by our vacation to Hawaii, when I had my first Tea Latte with Dirty Chai, which was amazing! Granted, I was drinking it while lounging on a beach, but the flavor and mix of coconut oil chai spices made for a great morning start.

What Does It Take To Make A Dirty Chai Latte Dirty?

At first, I had no clue, but now as I think about it, it all makes sense. Chai tea does not contain a lot of caffeine. The ones I’ve seen range from 30 to 60 milligrams. When combined with a shot of espresso, though, which is what makes this drink filthy, you receive the caffeine as well as the wonderful flavor. You may easily alter this cocktail by adding two shots of espresso, omitting it entirely, or just altering the ingredients.

Low-Carb Beverages

The greatest thing about this drink is that if you want to drink it late at night, you can make it completely caffeine-free. You may buy caffeine-free chai tea and just omit the espresso shot. There’s no kick, but there’s a lot of taste! We also offer a variety of low carb beverages to choose from, like bulletproof coffee, turmeric tea, and white hot chocolate! You may have high fat drinks on your keto diet whether or not you consume coffee or are addicted to caffeine.

Tea Latte with Dirty Chai

This chai tea latte is an excellent starting point for trying something new in your life. Many individuals, like me, find bulletproof coffee to be monotonous, so if you’re one of them, add this to the mix and you’ll no longer be dissatisfied by your morning coffee.

TIP: Make the spice combination ahead of time and store it in a tiny jar next to your coffee beans so you always have a filthy chai tea latte alternative when you’re tired of normal, boring coffee!
