Ingredients

Fish maw, 8 oz. (230 g). Soaked in warm water for a few minutes, then washed and drained. Cut into bite-size pieces.

3 Crab meat that isn’t real (Option).    
2 tbsp chicken broth in a can    
1 quart of water    
14 teaspoon freshly grated ginger root    
12 cup yellow onion, finely chopped    
1 green onion stalk, chopped    
1 (230 gram) can of straw mushrooms    
12 cup frozen veggie mix    
1 tsp oyster sauce 12 tsp    
a quarter teaspoon of salt    
12 teaspoon sesame seed oil    
sugar, 1 tablespoon    
a sprinkling of black pepper    
1 tablespoon cornstarch    
2 tablespoons of liquid    
2 eggs are required. Beaten.    
a single garlic clove Minced.    
1 tblsp. oil for cooking    

Soup with Fish Maw and Crab Directions

  1. Set aside 1 tablespoon cornstarch and 2 tablespoons water.
  2. When the soup pot is heated, add the cooking oil.
  3. Add the garlic, yellow onion, ginger, and fish mau right away. Stir until the onion is golden brown. (Make sure it doesn’t catch fire.)
  4. Fill the soup pot with chicken stock. Cook over medium heat until the fish maw is soft.
  5. Combine the mixed veggies and straw mushrooms in a large mixing bowl. Cook until the veggies are soft.
  6. Drops beaten eggs into the soup a bit at a time. Stirs.
  7. Pour in the water containing cornstarch. Stirs.
  8. Cooked crabmeat and imitation crabmeat should be added. Stirs.
  9. Sugar, salt, and oyster sauce are used to season the dish.
  10. Garnish with green onion and black pepper, if desired.

Serve immediately.
