These Incredible Baked Jalapeo Popper Rolls are ideal as an appetizer or as a side dish for tonight’s supper. When crispy bacon and spicy jalapeos are wrapped in a soft, warm crescent roll dough shell, they’re wonderful. Don’t let this opportunity pass you by!
I love making traditional Jalapeño Poppers in my house. Unfortunately, I don’t always have the time to cut and clean the jalapeños, stuff them, wrap them, wait for them to bake, then eat. That’s when this recipe came to me! This has the same great signature ingredients, but in a super easy form with a delicious flakey crust. The part that makes this so easy also is using this ——> pre-cooked bacon. It cut my cook time in half and made this ready in less than 25 minutes!
Is it necessary for me to use precooked bacon?
Certainly not! I always choose the excellent thick-cut bacon when I have the choice (and the time). Fresh off the pan, a good crispy slice is my favorite. Precooked bacon, on the other hand, is a great way to save time. The bacon takes 15 seconds to cook in the microwave and another 15 seconds to rough chop before throwing into the cream cheese mixture in this recipe. When you need to save time, it’s a complete home run!
Is it okay if I use fresh jalapeo peppers?
Absolutely. Fresh jalapeos will provide a nice crunch to the overall texture of this dish. You may also adjust the temperature by adding or removing the seeds. You may easily add a little bit more than 4 ounces if you want a stronger taste.
