Use your favorite kind of steak for the varieties of steak. We like ribeye, sirloin, tri-tip, and chuck shoulder steaks, depending on our budget (aka London Broil steaks). Cooking times may vary based on the size of the steak bits, the type of meat, how you want your steak cooked, and the temperature of the pan.
- 1 pound (454 g) beef, cut into 1/2” cubes and drained
- 30 g butter, 2 tablespoons
- 4 garlic cloves, minced or smashed
- Optional: 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- to taste with sea salt
- black pepper, freshly cracked, to taste
- optional garnish: parsley, minced
- Optional: melted butter to finish
- chile flakes (optional) as a final touch
In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Allow the butter to soften before adding the steak cubes. 2–5 minutes to sear all sides
Season with salt and pepper to taste after adding the garlic and optional Worcestershire sauce. Cook the steak bites until they’re done to your liking, typically another 1-2 minutes. Serve immediately with optional parsley, melted butter, and/or chile flakes.
