If you’ve ever been curious about low carb keto tiramisu, then you’re in luck today. Low Carb Keto Tiramisu In 15 Minutes is an incredibly simple recipe that requires only a few ingredients. It can be whipped up in about 15 minutes or less.

Nothing compares to the rich coffee taste found in Tiramisu when it comes to Italian sweets. The main drawbacks are that it’s high in carbohydrates and takes a whole day to prepare correctly. In less than 15 minutes, we’ll teach you how to create keto tiramisu the easiest way!

Making Tiramisu Keto with Low Carbs

Making this high-carb dessert keto not only makes it healthier, but it also cuts down on the cooking time. You won’t need a double boiler or a lot of prep time, and you won’t feel deprived of carbohydrates. Traditional tiramisu is a delicious dessert with layers of cream filling and delicate lady finger biscuits from Italy. We’ll build a handmade lady finger substitute to recreate this treat. We’ll also use keto cheats to make a fluffy cream layer that rivals the high-carb version of this dish.

A keto tiramisu cake is not something we’ll be creating here. This is a real tiramisu recipe that will remind you of the tiramisu you used to eat at a posh Italian restaurant. Don’t forget to tip your waiter!

To make the Keto Ladyfinger Cookies, combine all of the ingredients in a large mixing bowl (Very Easy)

I understand that it seems to be a daunting task. It seems complicated, but making keto cookies first and then assembling the remainder of the low carb tiramisu recipe is really very easy. These keto cookies are the only part of this keto dessert that needs cooking. All we need are a few basic keto-friendly items.

It is critical to have all of the ingredients at room temperature before beginning. If the ingredients aren’t at room temperature, mixing them together will be difficult, and you’ll end up with lumpy cream. Nobody likes lumpy whipped cream.

For the base we use a mixture of almond flour and coconut flour. This combination will achieve the texture we’re looking for from these cookies. We want them to be firm enough to hold up to the coffee and cream filling that they will eventually be up against. Almond flour on it’s own produces to crispy of a cookie. This base of flours (almond flour and coconut flour) is what sets the stage for this gluten free low carb tiramisu.

We utilize a combination of erythritol and stevia as sweeteners. We get the best of both worlds with this mix of low carb keto sweeteners. We obtain a rich sweetness without the aftertaste that may occur when sugar substitutes are used in large quantities. When it comes to the erythritol in this keto recipe, we utilize a powdered sweetener.

before baking keto cookies

Why do we use egg whites instead of egg yolks in this recipe? The egg yolks are removed from the cookie layer, making it harder and crispier. Egg yolks would make them more chewy and bread-like, which we don’t want in this dessert.

Make a cup of coffee or espresso.

A tiramisu’s characteristic taste is strong coffee. The aim is to include as much of that taste as possible into this dessert, which leaves a few choices open. Coffee that has been brewed is much too weak and should only be used as a last option. Espresso or instant coffee are the two finest choices. Both of these may be made very robust and will be able to stand up to the high fat cream filling. When the cookies come out of the oven, put this in the fridge.

This keto tiramisu dish may be made with rum for an extra kick.

You may add additional coffee extract to this stage if you don’t think the taste is strong enough.

To make the sugar-free cream layer, combine all of the ingredients in a mixing bowl

This layer may be made with either mascarpone cheese or cream cheese when preparing tiramisu on a keto diet. Mascarpone cheese is the more traditional ingredient, however we use cream cheese as a substitute in many of our keto recipes since it is more readily accessible. The two have a similar flavor profile, with cream cheese having a little more acidic flavor.

Make sure all of the ingredients are at room temperature, as they should be for most keto desserts. One bowl will have the heavy cream, while the other will hold the other ingredients. Using a hand mixer, food processor, or counter top mixer, carefully incorporate these ingredients. Stop mixing the whipped cream as soon as it has mixed and is still frothy. Don’t overmix the ingredients. Normally, this step would be gently folded, but in this recipe, mixing works better.

When the heavy cream is extremely cold, it is easiest to beat it. This is most likely the problem if you’re having trouble with this portion of the recipe.

process of assembling keto components

Assemble the ingredients for the Tiramisu Keto Recipe.

Now it’s time to have some fun. I suppose the most enjoyable aspect of most keto recipes is eating them, but putting this keto tiramisu together is also enjoyable.

  • Begin by layering the cream filling in a stemless wine glass or a transparent dessert cup. For this stage, I prefer to use a cookie scoop.
  • Make sure your cookies and espresso are both cold before proceeding; else, the cookies may crumble. Submerge the biscuit in the espresso for five seconds. In the serving glass, place the cookie.
  • Cover the cookie layer with another layer of cream filling until it is fully concealed.
  • Add a generous sprinkling of cocoa powder. This keto dish has the most classic taste thanks to the use of dark chocolate cocoa powder.

All that’s left to do now is sit back and relax!

Keep in the fridge, as you should with all of the finest keto desserts. It’ll keep for up to a week in the fridge, so you can have it after your keto meals on hectic evenings.

This Gluten-Free Tiramisu Recipe Has Been Modified

Many people wonder whether this dish can be made dairy-free. Many individuals on a dairy-free keto diet still like this traditional dessert, but the sad reality is that it is one of the few keto dishes that need dairy. The cream filling is so important to certain keto sweets that they wouldn’t be the same without it.

If you want to include some dairy-free keto sweets to your keto diet, consider these:

Making tiramisu cake is a popular low carb keto alternative to this more classic tiramisu keto recipe. While this is a possibility, it isn’t the same as tiramisu sponge cake. Making decadent high fat keto meals that you don’t have to feel guilty about is one of the most enjoyable aspects of the keto diet. The addition of additional ingredients to the Tiramisu sponge cake necessitates the use of keto alternatives.

Time to cook: 8 minutes

Instructions:

Layer of cookies

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • Almond flour, coconut flour, erythritol, baking powder, and salt are mixed together. Using a whisk, mix until well blended.

  • Toss the dry ingredients with the vanilla, egg, and butter. Cut the butter into the flour mixture by hand, or use a food processor on the pulse setting to incorporate.

  • Freeze the dough for 10 minutes before using.

  • Form the batter into four balls and flatten them after it has cooled. On a baking sheet, space them at least 1.5 inches apart.

  • Cook for 6-8 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Remove from the oven and set aside to cool before dipping in the coffee mixture.

Filling

  • Using an electric mixer, beat cream cheese, vanilla extract, erythritol, and stevia until smooth and creamy in a medium mixing basin.

  • In a separate bowl, whisk the heavy cream on high speed for 1 minute, or until medium to firm peaks form. Don’t beat yourself up too much.

  • Add the whipped cream to the cheese mixture and whisk on low speed for 1 minute, or until the cream cheese is completely integrated.

  • Fill a stemless wine glass or a dessert cup halfway with cream. Place a cookie on top of the cream after dipping it in the coffee mixture for 5 seconds and gently wetting it. Add a dollop of cream on the top of the cookie.

  • If preferred, top with unsweetened cocoa powder and keep refrigerated until ready to serve. To make three additional keto tiramisu treats, repeat the instructions.

  • Leftovers should be kept in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days (small glass jars work well).

  • Note: If you just want to use a part of the filling, that’s OK. Each Keto Tiramisu will be lower in fat and calories as a result of this!

There are so many amazing low carb recipes that use sweetened cream in place of traditional tiramisu ingredients, the question is which to try?   Do you prefer using coffee cream or coffee flavored cream? I think coffee cream has a stronger coffee flavor and espresso cream the creamier flavor. Coffee Cream or Espresso Cream? For the most authentic tiramisu, use coffee cream.   For a lighter version, use espresso cream. Top with mascarpone and spoon on a dusting of cocoa powder. ** You can also make a tiramisu cake instead of a cupcake..
