Christmas Keto Casseroles

I don’t know about you, but this is the time of year when I see all of the casseroles in my family. They’re simple to make, delicious, and great for a party. Check out a couple keto casseroles that you might serve at your holiday gathering.

Keto Side Dishes with a Kick

We had turkey for Thanksgiving and a honey-glazed ham for Christmas in my family. I’m not sure whether other families do things this way, but I’m more of a ham. If turkey is your thing, we offer a fantastic Turkey and Gravy dish. There are usually some excellent savory dishes like stuffing, mashed potatoes, and cornbread, regardless of the meat. There are also some fantastic sauces to use as a garnish. Here are a few of my personal favorites:

As you can see, there are a plethora of delicious keto Christmas dishes to prepare for your holiday gathering!

A great appetizer during the holiday season a platter of crackers. Berries, cheese, meats, and chocolates are perfect with crackers to hold people over until the big feast!

It’s Okay To Eat

Hopefully, there will be additional keto-friendly meals available during your Christmas get-together. At my Christmas feast, we always have appetizers, and there are typically some excellent keto choices that won’t put you crazy on carbohydrates. Here are some keto-friendly appetizer suggestions:

  • a vegetable tray (stick to the low-carb veggies)
  • A fruit platter (stick to the low carb fruits – berries)
  • A cheese & meat tray (these should be pretty safe)
  • Deviled Eggs are a delicious appetizer (these are usually lower in carbs)
  • Pickles for a party (these are okay, but if they are sweet, they might be higher carb)

If none of these are available at your party, bring your own keto-friendly appetizers, such as Simple Deviled Eggs, a low-carb vegetable tray, Bacon Wrapped Asparagus, or a cheese and meat tray. To munch on, prepare some fancy Pumpkin Seed Crackers or Toasted Pecans with Bacon.

This elegant Prosciutto Wrapped Salmon will up your game and wow everyone at your party.

Of course, I still like grape juice 90% of the time, but there are several other keto-friendly beverages that I enjoy making today. There are a lot of delicious keto Christmas beverages to choose from, so don’t be afraid to surprise your family with them.

The holiday drink of choice is eggnog. Regular eggnog is high in sugar, but we’ve created a sugar-free, low-carb version especially for you! You may prepare beverages for the actual event or enjoy them the night before Christmas while your children prepare for Santa’s arrival.

If you’re looking for something a bit more sophisticated, try an Apple Cider Moscow Mule!
