Amrutham Podi is a traditional Indian sweet that has been around for hundreds of years. This laddoo is made with almonds, cashews and pistachios and it’s easy to make and can be stored in the freezer for up to six months.

10 laddoo (servings)
- 1 cup Amrutham Podi
- 1/4 cup cashews
- 1/4 cup almonds
- 1/4 cup chopped dates
- 1/2 cup freshly grated coconut
- 1/4 cup jaggery, grated
- Add amrutham podi to a skillet and dry roast for approximately 5 minutes on low heat, or until fragrant (without changing color).
- In a large mixing basin, combine all of the ingredients.
- Blend the cashews and almonds in a blender until coarsely powdered (having tiny granules to bite).
- Fill the amrutham podi dish with it.
- After that, add shredded coconut and sliced dates to the blender.
- Coarsley should be blended and added to the bowl.
- Add the jaggery, grated.
- Now, crumble all of the ingredients together with your hands (it become sticky in texture).
- Grease your hands with ghee and go to work creating laddoos.
