I feel like I am constantly trying to reinvent ways to eat chicken. Either that, or we eat chicken the same 5 ways! I wanted to give you (and myself) a different recipe with chicken that was still nutritious, simple, and easy clean up. <Insert THIS recipe>. I love the added ricotta because it not only makes the caesar dressing creamier and thicker, but adds a significant amount of protein! Another great aspect?? You can have this put together and in the oven in just 5 minutes!

Ricotta cheese has a little gritty texture and is extremely soft and moist. It has a moderate, somewhat sweet taste to it. It is often used in prepared recipes, but it may also be consumed raw. Cottage cheese is often used as a ricotta replacement by most people. Cottage cheese is lumpier than regular cheese, although it has a comparable taste.

Is it necessary to cover this chicken dish while it cooks?

I never cover this dish when I prepare it. I’ve discovered that if I leave it uncovered, the cracker topping browns nicely and the chicken stays moist. To ensure an equal dispersion of heat, put the dish on the middle rack. Because oven temperatures vary, I suggest keeping a watch on your topping for the final 5-8 minutes. Simply cover for the remainder of the cook time if it seems to be becoming too brown! Cook chicken to an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.

  • Breasts of chicken
  • Ricotta is a kind of cheese made from ricott
  • Crackers Ritz
  • Butter
  • Dressing for Caesar Salad
  • Parmigiano-Reggiano

To prepare our Easy Baked Creamy Caesar Chicken, follow these steps:

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. A medium-sized baking dish should be greased. In a baking dish, arrange thinly sliced chicken breasts, making sure they don’t overlap.


In a medium mixing bowl, thoroughly combine the ricotta cheese and caesar dressing. Then, as evenly as possible, spread the mixture over the chicken breasts. Spread the parmesan cheese over the top of the mixture.


Finally, combine melted butter and crumbled Ritz crackers. Sprinkle the parmesan cheese over top.


Bake for 40 minutes, uncovered, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F. Remove from the pan and serve immediately!

  • 1 cup Ritz Crackers, crushed (about 1 sleeve)
  • 3–4 chicken breasts, thinly sliced
  • a half-cup of Caesar dressing
  • a half-cup of ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan
  • 2 tblsp. butter, melted
  • Fresh parsley as a garnish
