We recreated our favorite high-carb bar using basic, whole ingredients and got it right the first time. What Makes These Different From Other Low Carb Snack Bars?

You may be asking yourself the question of how these compare to pre-packaged ones. Although ones you can buy online or in store may have the convenience factor that these don’t because no baking is required, the ingredients and macros are a little questionable. Let’s take a look:

  1. Quest Bars include a lot of fiber and have a higher total carbohydrate content.
  2. Atkins Lift Bars also use a lot of fiber along with sucralose for the sweetener.
  3. Keto bars are your best bet, although they still include a bit more erythritol than we like.

Granola Low Carb Bars from Nature Valley

Unless you want the authentic feel of a Nature Valley granola bar, you don’t need to use the granola bar mold we used. Fat bomb or muffin molds will do the trick, and you’ll have tiny bits of bliss! The aim of this recipe was to recreate the wonderful Stoka Bars, which have Butter Powder as an ingredient on their package. If you don’t want to spend the money on this item, consider replacing the following components instead.

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 275 degrees Fahrenheit.

  • In a food processor, mix all of the ingredients and pulse until you have pieces of almonds but everything is incorporated.

  • Spoon the mixture into the mold and firmly push it down with a spatula.

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and bake for 30 minutes, or until sides are golden brown. Allow 15-20 minutes for cooling before serving.
