One Pan Chicken Thighs | Lemon Sauce!

The chicken I grew up eating was not only tender and juicy, but also packed with flavor. These Chicken Thighs come out of the oven moist and flavorful from the sauce, and they stay that way for several days. The lemon sauce is a zesty combo of lemon juice and zest and works wonderfully with the hot and juicy chicken. The acid from the lemon juice tenderizes the chicken, while the garlic and ginger add a ton of flavor. The fresh herbs and tarragon in the chicken are a nice complement to the other flavors in the sauce.

Why use just one pan? Because it’s easy, and you don’t have to do a bunch of extra dishes. You can easily make this recipe with a single pan.

I’ve always loved using one pan dinners. They’re easy, quick and require little clean-up after dinner. Here’s a recipe that I do often: One Pan Chicken Thighs with a Lemon & Olive Oil Sauce! I can make this dinner in under 30 minutes and it can be served over rice or pasta.. Read more about lemon garlic cream sauce for chicken and let us know what you think.

As our lives get busier, we simplify our dishes, and this One Pan Chicken Thighs recipe has been a go-to for us recently! We’ve kept the recipe as basic as possible, with just a squeeze of fresh lemon, so you may add any spices or vegetables you want. Simply toss them into the lemon sauce and simmer until soft on the stovetop.

How Long Should Chicken Thighs Be Baked?

That relies on a few factors:

  • What are the dimensions of your chicken thighs?
  • Do you want your meat to be bone-in or boneless?
  • Did you flatten the chicken thighs after unrolling them?

Cooking time will be reduced if the chicken thighs are smaller. If you use boneless chicken thighs, they will cook faster, and if you flatten them down before searing them, they will cook even faster!

Checking the internal temperature of your chicken thighs using a meat thermometer is the simplest method to ensure they are completely done. This is the one we use!

What Can You Do With Chicken?

Sometimes we like to go hard on the meat so I’ll have two thighs and Matt will have three, but we also like to change it up with some filling sides. While Matt’s personal favorite side for this recipe would be creamy cauliflower mash, having the lemon sauce act as gravy, I would much rather go for a couple slices of coconut flour bread! Maybe even make a messy lemon chicken sandwich.
