Keto Lamb Chops with Herb Butter – Recipe

Low carb enthusiasts rejoice! There is a new low carb food craze to add to your low carb recipe book! Keto Lamb Chops with Herb Butter is great for the Keto diet and will be the new low carb dinner recipe you will want to make again and again!

With the lamb chops, I wanted to give them a bit of a twist from the usual lamb chops you get on the menu. One of the main tips I’d give when you’re cooking is to keep things simple, and I think that’s what has made this lamb chop dish work so well. I’ve left the veggies simple, the herbs really provide the flavour, and the herb butter is to die for! It also works well on the side and allows you to serve 2 people with the amounts we’ve used.

If you’re not a fan of lamb, you may not like these lamb chops. Lamb, if you are not familiar, is a meat that has a mild taste, and is good to eat if you are trying to get used to the taste of meat. Simple. Stunning. Flavorful. When you’re in the mood for beautiful simplicity, this meal will become your keto go-to. Who doesn’t like delicious meat accompanied by wonderful herb lemon butter?

Instructions

  1. Allow the chops to come to room temperature before frying or grilling. If the meat is cold when it is cooked, it will not acquire a beautiful brown surface. The chop will not curl if you make a few slices through the fat portion.

  2. Salt & pepper to taste.

  3. If you’re using a frying pan, fry in butter and olive oil. If you’re grilling the chops, just brush them with olive oil before putting them on the grill.

  4. Depending on the thickness of the chops, fry for 3–4 minutes. Cooking time will be longer for thicker chops. It’s OK if the interior of the lamb is a bit pink.

  5. With lush greens, lemon wedges, and herb butter on the side.

Tip!

You may also use pork or beef instead of lamb.

For this dish, I marinated the chops in a mixture of heavy cream, salt, pepper and a few herbs, then grilled them to perfection.
