The EASIEST EVER Coffee Creamer Ice Cream

After my recent post about the benefits of making homemade ice cream, I received so many comments asking me for the recipe I decided it was time to share it with you. We’ve been having a lot of fun coming up with new methods to test out the scientific experiment that our boys’ teacher has shared with you. After supper, the youngsters are giddy with anticipation of concocting their next frozen ice cream creation. It has become a beloved stay-at-home ritual for them. All of the wonderful coffee creamer varieties grabbed my attention one day while grocery shopping, and I thought they would be the ideal foundation for this easy treat. You might even combine various flavors—the possibilities are limitless!

Is it possible to make coffee ice cream using coffee creamer?

Yes, you certainly can! Allowing the coffee to cool before adding the creamer is recommended. To get a maximum creamy taste, you may want to add a bit more creamer than you usually would to your morning cup!

Is it okay if I use any flavor of coffee creamer?

Yes! This is one of our favorite aspects of this simple frozen treat! The options are limitless! There are so many wonderful creamer varieties to choose from; tell us which one is your favorite!

Our Coffee Creamer Ice Cream’s ingredients

  • Creamer of your choice for coffee (we love this)
  • Ice
  • Salt
  • Ziploc Bag (Sandwich Size)
  • Ziploc Bag (quart or gallon size)

To create our Coffee Creamer Ice Cream, follow these steps:

Fill a sandwich bag halfway with coffee creamer and seal it. As much air as possible should be removed from the bag.

Fill a gallon-sized ziploc bag with ice to approximately half-full. Add approximately 1/2 cup of salt to the top.

Shake for 3-4 minutes with the little bag inside the ice bag. Remove the bag from the big ice bag and rinse rapidly to remove all of the salt.

Open the creamer package and pour the contents into a dish. Enjoy!

  • a half cup of salt (poured over ice)
  • Ziploc Bags in Sandwich Size
  • Ziploc Bags (Gallon)

Instructions

  1. Fill a sandwich bag halfway with coffee creamer and seal it. As much air as possible should be removed from the bag.
  2. Fill a gallon-sized ziploc bag with ice to approximately half-full.

  4. Shake for 3-4 minutes with the little bag inside the ice bag.

I know some people think I’m crazy for writing about ice cream in the summer. But when it gets this hot, sometimes you just want to eat ice cream.
